What is Bulk Add Zone?

Bulk Add Zone is a powerful feature that allows you to add multiple domains or zones to Cloudflare simultaneously. Instead of adding zones one by one, you can paste a list of domains and the system will automatically extract and process them. This feature is especially useful when you need to add many domains at once.

How to Bulk Add Zones
Step-by-step guide to add multiple zones at once
Adding Zones in Bulk
- Go to Zones Page
Navigate to the Zones page in your dashboard
- Click Add Button
Click the 'Add' button on the Zones page to open the Add Zone modal
- Open Bulk Add Tab
In the Add Zone modal, click on the 'Bulk Add' tab to switch to bulk mode
- Paste Your Domains
Paste your list of zones or domains in the text area. The system will automatically extract domains from your text. You can paste domains separated by commas, new lines, or any other format - the system will intelligently extract them.
- Configure Settings (Optional)
You can use a Zone Profile or DNS Template for automatic configuration. Alternatively, you can manually select the Cloudflare account, DNS template, and collection for each field. The template system allows you to automatically create DNS records when zones are added.
- Generate Preview
Click 'Generate Preview' to see a preview of all zones that will be added along with their DNS records (if any). Review the preview to ensure everything is correct before proceeding.
- Add All Zones
Click 'Add All Zone' to start adding all your domains. If you're adding more than 10 zones, the system will automatically redirect you to the Queue page.
- Start Queue (If Applicable)
If you added more than 10 zones, you'll be redirected to the Queue page. Click 'Start' to begin processing. The queue system will process all zones in the background.
Important: Queue System
The queue system is currently in beta and runs on local processor. Make sure to keep your browser active and open while the queue is processing. If you close the browser or the tab becomes inactive, the processing may pause or stop.
Using Templates with Bulk Add

Understanding the Queue System
Learn how the queue system processes bulk zone additions
When you add more than 10 zones at once, the system uses a queue to process them efficiently. The queue ensures that all zones are added systematically without overwhelming the system.
How the Queue Works
- When you add more than 10 zones, they are automatically added to the queue
- You'll be redirected to the Queue page where you can see all pending zones
- Click 'Start' to begin processing. The system will add zones one by one
- Once processing is complete, you can view results in the Queue History
Important Note
The queue system is currently in beta and processes tasks using your local browser. Make sure to keep your browser tab active and open during processing. If the browser becomes inactive or is closed, the queue processing may pause or stop.
Viewing Results
Learn how to view the results of your bulk zone addition
After the queue finishes processing all zones, you can view the results including the name servers for each zone that was successfully added.
How to View Results
- Go to the Queue History section
- Find your completed queue job
- Click the 'Open' button to view detailed results including all successfully added zones and their name servers
Result Information
The results page will show you all zones that were successfully added, along with their Cloudflare name servers. You can use this information to update your domain registrar's DNS settings.
