What is Redirect Rule?

Redirect rules are configurations that automatically redirect visitors from one URL to another. In aioflare, you can manage redirect rules for your Cloudflare zones, including adding new redirect rules, editing existing ones, and deleting rules you no longer need.

How to Access Redirect Rules
Step-by-step guide to access and manage redirect rules
Accessing Redirect Rules
- Go to Zone Page
Navigate to the Zones page in the dashboard sidebar
- Open Zone Settings
You can open the zone sheet in two ways: Click directly on the zone name in the zone card, or click the three dots (⋯) menu on the zone card and then click 'Settings'. This will open the zone sheet overlay.
- Go to Rules Tab
In the zone sheet overlay, click on the 'Rules' tab to view all redirect rules for that zone.
- Automatic Fetch
The system will automatically fetch redirect rules through the API when you open the Rules tab. Wait for the fetch to complete.
- Manage Rules
After the fetch is complete, you can add, edit, and delete redirect rules according to your needs.
Automatic Fetch
When you open the Rules tab, aioflare automatically fetches all redirect rules for the selected zone from Cloudflare. This ensures you always see the most up-to-date redirect rules.

You can add new redirect rules to your zone to redirect visitors from one URL to another. This is useful when you need to set up new redirects or modify your redirect configuration.
Adding a Redirect Rule
After opening the Rules tab and the fetch is complete, click the 'Add' button to create a new redirect rule. Fill in the required information such as source URL, destination URL, status code, and other settings, then save the rule.

You can edit existing redirect rules to modify their configuration. This allows you to update the source URL, destination URL, status code, or other settings without deleting and recreating the rule.

Important Warning
Deleting a redirect rule is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you really want to remove the redirect before confirming the deletion.
